What I’m doing at Relevance AI

Hello! I look after all things customers at Relevance AI. But as they say, it takes a village – and our village is super duper – incredibly talented, focused, fun and a dash of nerd too. And we like it that way! (Join the fun – we’re hiring!) 

The journey is full of firsts, and we’re building a product that is unique, modern, and relevant, and we’re not scared of doing things different from the norm. Most importantly, it’s championing global teams to get quicker, faster, deeper, better insights from unstructured data (text and images) without the need to be a tech giant. It’s very cool.

My career journey to Relevance AI

Back at uni, I would have never expected that working in tech and the sweet spot of high growth startups was a thing, let alone my thing. But here we are and it’s magic!

Prior to Relevance, I worked with and for companies including Alteryx Auto InsightsMicrosoftIAGOMD AustraliaQuantiumWestpac and Woolworths. Most recently, I served as Head of Customer Success (Data Science) and Marketing Director at Hyper Anna (now an Alteryx Auto Insights company).

Joining Hyper Anna at an early stage, I was the first customer success leader building global data science and client engagement teams, and later becoming marketing director, successfully leading the brand to acquisition with Alteryx in October 2021.

With a PhD in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Sydney, I’m also an award-winning author and lecturer. In 2021, I was appointed adjunct industry professor for the executive MBA at UTS, helping leaders make sense of AI (data, ethics, privacy) in a rapidly changing world.

What I’m most excited about working at Relevance AI

For me, the best thing about working at Relevance has been hearing from our customers how the platform has changed the unstructured-data-analysis-is-pain-in-the-butt game for their data and business teams in some way. And it’s only just beginning!

What my average day at Relevance AI looks like

Lots of customer, founder, team and make-stuff-happen goodness. And a slice of sales, marketing, and product too. My idea of work happiness!

What I do outside of work

Listen Frozen. Watch Frozen. Sing Frozen. Dream Frozen. If you know. You know. (And I wouldn’t have it any other way!)
